Officers were called just before 5.30pm yesterday (August 29) to reports of the crash on Streatham High Road.

The road was partially closed, from the Sports Direct store to Streatham train station.

Pictures show a motorbike on the ground under a Progressive lorry.

There were no reported injuries.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 5.25pm on Thursday, August 29 to reports of a crash between a lorry and motorbike on Streatham High Road.

“Offices attended.

“There were no reported injuries.

Brixton Streatham Place: Man taken to hospital after stabbing

The incident happened at 10.18pm on Thursday (August 22) in Streatham Place.

Police went to the scene and the man was taken to a south London hospital where is injuries have been assessed as not “life threatening or life changing”.

There have been no arrests at this stage and investigations are ongoing.

Missing Streatham teen has links to Lewisham

Gabriel is missing from his home in Streatham.

The 15-year-old is described as 5'9" tall, with a slim build and curly brown hair.

He has links to Lewisham.

Abercairn Road Streatham stabbing: Man fighting for life

The incident happened in Abercairn Road at 3.20am yesterday (July 22).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as serious.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 3:20hrs on Monday, 22 July to reports of a man being stabbed in Abercairn Road, SW16.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics from London Ambulance Service.

The incident reportedly happened in Abercairn Road at around 3.15am today (July 22), according to Lambeth and Southwark Assembly Member, Marina Ahmed, on X (formally known as Twitter).

It is unknown whether the road has been closed or whether a crime scene is in place.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for further information on the incident.

Aldrington Road Streatham flat fire: Three rescued

Police investigating after three people rescued from flat fire in Streatham - Wandsworth Guardian

Fire crews were called to a flat fire in Aldrington Road in Streatham early this morning (July 12) at around 1:41am.

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to the scene with crews from Tooting, West Norwood, Norbury and surrounding fire stations despatched to the scene.

Part of the ground floor of the semi-detached property made up of three floors was damaged by the fire.

Three people who became trapped on the second floor were rescued by fire crews from the building by ladder and were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

Emergency services were called to Streatham Place this morning (June 27) at 2.24am.

It is believed that the stabbing victim, a man in his 40s, was stabbed in Brixton Hill.

He was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening of life-changing.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.

Streatham Common Park stabbing: Teen taken to hospital

The incident happened at Streatham Common Park just after 8pm on May 18.

An ambulance crew, paramedics in response cars, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

The teen was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition is unknown.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for further information.

Streatham: Man jailed after raping woman in Norbury home

Streatham: Man jailed after raping woman in Norbury home - Wandsworth Guardian

Raphael Fakoya, 35, was jailed for nine years on May 13 after he was found guilty of numerous sexual offences.

The assault occurred in February 2022 at Fakoya's home, with a woman who he knew.

Fakoya will be on the sex offenders register for life.

Following a hearing at Croydon Crown Court on January 24, Fakoya, from Beatrice Avenue, SW16, was declared a serious risk to women.

He plead guilty to three counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault.

Originally established as a Wetherspoon in December 1998, The Holland Tringham has undergone a complete makeover, including enhancements to the customer area, bar, and other amenities.

The refurbishment encompasses redecoration throughout, featuring new light fixtures, carpets, and luxurious marble wall panels in the customer toilets.
