Taking over The Kingsbrook School’s Armstrong Fields, the event brought the community together for a day of family-friendly entertainment, featuring face painting, bumper cars, bouncy castles, an arts and crafts tent, fairground rides and a traditional Punch and Judy performance. Live music performances from Northern Star, The Vintage and DJ Pete Ashmore kept crowds entertained throughout the day, while a diverse selection of food vendors catered to Kingsbrook’s growing foodie community, offering everything from Korean street food to Greek souvlaki. Returning as sponsors of Kingsbrook Live, Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes contributed £5,000 towards this year’s event to help cover costs and keep ticket prices affordable for residents. The sponsorship reflects the housebuilders’ continued investment in the Kingsbrook community, where they have been delivering homes for the past decade. Throughout that time, the housebuilders have delivered over 2,000 homes while working alongside local partners to help create a vibrant, well-connected neighbourhood with green spaces, community facilities and places for people to come together. Ben Malpas, Councillor at Kingsbrook Parish Council, said: “We’ve celebrated another fantastic weekend at Kingsbrook Live. The atmosphere at Armstrong Fields was incredible, with so many families coming together to enjoy the event. “Events like Kingsbrook Live play an important role in bringing the community together, and it’s wonderful to see so many residents enjoying everything the day had to offer. Thank you to all our suppliers and our sponsors Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes for helping make the event possible.” Dan Poll, Technical Manager at Barratt David Wilson North Thames, said: “It’s fantastic to see Kingsbrook Live become such a well-loved fixture in the community calendar. Over the past decade, we have worked closely with the Parish Council to create a vibrant and welcoming community at Kingsbrook, and it’s great to see residents coming together to enjoy events like this. “Supporting initiatives that bring people together is an important part of our commitment to Kingsbrook, and we look forward to continuing to work with local partners, including the Parish Council, to strengthen the community and create opportunities for residents to connect.” A range of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes is currently available at Orchard Green and Canal Quarter at Kingsbrook, with prices starting from £385,000.
