Today marks the 28th birthday of Dave, one of the most celebrated and influential figures in modern British music.

But if there’s one location that’s usually overlooked when compared with its SW neighbours, it’s Streatham.

Lambeth Council has confirmed the details for both contests, with notices of election due to be published on Thursday 4th June. The nomination period runs from Friday 5th June to 4pm on Friday 12th June, and the deadline to register to vote is midnight on Tuesday 23rd June.

The meeting, which follows the local elections on May 7, saw Councillor Martin Abrams elected as the new Leader of the Council, and also the appointment of Lambeth’s new Cabinet. Cllr Ciara Alleyne and Cllr Natalie Kane were appointed as the new Deputy Leaders of Lambeth Council.

The incident took place in Streatham, south London in 2019.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, sustained serious head injuries and is now cared for by her family.

Notices of election will be published next Thursday 4 June. The nomination period will start on Friday 5 June, at 9:30am, and nominations can then be submitted between 9:30am and 4pm, on any working day, up to 4pm on Friday 12 June.
