Southern rail passengers face disruption across much of this weekend as planned engineering works close lines on two routes serving London, with buses replacing trains and longer journeys expected on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September.

Passengers travelling into London face disruption on some lines this weekend due to planned engineering works.

Several lines have been closed which are set to impact Southern rail services on Saturday and Sunday.

The work will affect services on Saturday and Sunday (September 12 and September 13), with replacement buses running on several routes.

Some services will not run while others will be diverted, with journey times also expected to increase.
