Seats on Lambeth London Borough Council were up for election in the wards of Brixton Acre Lane, Brixton North, Brixton Rush Common, Brixton Windrush, Clapham Common and Abbeville, Clapham East, Clapham Park, Clapham Town, Gipsy Hill, Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction, Kennington, Knight's Hill, Myatt's Fields, Oval, St Martin's, Stockwell East, Stockwell West and Larkhall, Streatham Common and Vale, Streatham Hill East, Streatham Hill West and Thornton, Streatham St Leonard's, Streatham Wells, Vauxhall, Waterloo and South Bank, and West Dulwich. All 63 seats on Lambeth London Borough Council were up for grabs, with each ward represented by either two or three councillors. Before the 2026 election, the London borough council was run by Labour, who had 54 seats. Councillors have been elected in all 32 London boroughs, with a total of 1,817 seats up for grabs. London borough elections take place every four years. Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, May 7, with the count taking place on Friday. Results for the Lambeth local elections are due from 6pm on Friday evening. In total, more than 5,000 council seats were up for grabs across 136 local authorities in England on election day.
