Multiple TfL and National Rail lines

Southeastern, Great Northern and Thameslink services are among the disrupted National Rail lines

Commuters may face severe delays on their journeys to work this morning, with disruptions on multiple TfL and National Rail lines.

At 10.00am, the Waterloo & City line was experiencing minor delays.

There were also delays across the National Rail network, with delays of up to 30 minutes on Southeastern trains between St Pancras International/Victoria and Ramsgate.

Great Northern trains between Kings Lynn/Ely/Cambridge and Kings Cross and Thameslink trains between Cambridge and Brighton were experiencing delays of up to 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, Avanti West Coast, Caledonian Sleeper and London Northwestern Railway trains between Milton Keynes Central and Watford may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Northern line part suspended

The Northern line is part suspended between Morden and Camden Town via Bank northbound.

This is due to a faulty train at Kennington. Tickets are valid on London buses.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

South Western Railway delays

Delays of up to 10 minutes on the South Western Railway between Clapham Junction and Barnes are expected until 11.00am.

This is due to an unwell passenger at Barnes, closing all lines.

South Wimbledon station reduced escalator service

There is no down escalator in service at South Wimbledon station due to a fault.

Limited step free access at Liverpool Street

Step free access to and from the Elizabeth line at Liverpool Street station is not available via the Broadgate entrance or the Liverpool St National Rail concourse due to a faulty lift.

Customers are advised to use the Moorgate station entrance for step free access

Alternative routes for Southern and Thameslink passengers

Southern and Thameslink passengers scheduled to take a train via Streatham are able to use their ticket on alternative Southern and Thameslink services between London/Sutton and East Croydon at no extra cost.

Streatham disruption

The disruption in Southern and Thameslink trains running through Streatham is expected until 10.30am.

Southern trains between Sutton/East Croydon/Selhurst and London Bridge and Thameslink trains between Sutton and St Albans City are affected.

Passengers are advised to allow up to 20 minutes extra if traveling via these routes.

This is due to an earlier trespass incident at Streatham.

A4 traffic flowing well

There are no longer serious delays on the A4.

Avanti West Coast delays

There are delays in Avanti West Coast trains between London Euston and Holyhead. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to an hour or revised.

This is due to an unwell passenger on a train at Flint, causing some lines towards Holyhead to be blocked.

The disruption is expected until 9.30am.

Limited step-free access at Highbury & Islington

Step-free access is not available at Highbury & Islington station to the Mildmay and Windrush lines platforms 2 and 7 (trains via Willesden Junction and via Canada Water).

Passengers are advised to take a train from platform 8 to Canonbury and change there.

Limited step free access at Archway

There is reduced escalator service at Archway station due to a faulty lift.
