Anticipate delays on Dulwich Common as restrictions and temporary signals are in place to facilitate maintenance works.

Disruption between Sole Street and Farningham Road expected until 9am

A fault with the signalling system between Sole Street and Farningham Road means all lines are currently closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.

M11 traffic chaos after two crashes near Stansted Airport cause long delays

Drivers faced major delays on the M11 this morning after two crashes near London Stansted Airport brought traffic to a standstill.

The motorway was blocked in both directions between Junction 8 (Stansted) and Junction 9, with emergency services and traffic officers called to the scene.

All lanes have since reopened, but National Highways warned of “very long delays” still affecting both directions.

Motorists travelling southbound faced queues of up to five miles, while congestion stretched for seven miles northbound. Travellers heading to the airport were urged to allow extra time.
