The majority of commuters will not face problems getting to work on Wednesday morning, with a good service on all but one TfL line.

At 7.58am, there was no service on the Windrush line due to a customer incident.

Meanwhile, a fault with the signalling system at East Croydon had disrupted the Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services running through this station, with delays of up to 10 minutes.

Motorists were facing serious delays on the A13 and A406. Refurbishment works at Canning Town had resulted in slow moving traffic westbound on the A13 Newham way with queues from Prince Regent Lane. Out of order traffic signals caused traffic at all approaches at the junction of Golders Green Road.
