Emergency services were called to the scene in Streatham Vale at 4.22pm following reports of an attack. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:“We were called at 4:19pm yesterday (4 August) to reports of a stabbing on Eardley Road, Streatham, SW16. “We sent ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. “We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority by road.” Video footage obtained by SWD Media captures specialist firearms units arriving at the scene shortly after the callout. Multiple marked and unmarked police vehicles surrounded the address as officers equipped with rifles took up positions outside. In the recording, armed officers can be heard shouting instructions towards the premises, calling out: “Armed police, come to the front door!” Despite the heavy police response, the road remained open to passing traffic and pedestrians throughout the operation, with no formal police cordons erected across the street. London’s Air Ambulance landed on nearby Streatham Common to assist ground medical crews before the victim was transported to hospital. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed: “Police were called at 16:22hrs on Tuesday 4 August to Eardley Road following reports of an assault. “Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. “A man in his 20s was taken to hospital.
