Mayara Loiola Ataide, 34, and Gevaldo Tavares Dos Santos, 46, both of no fixed address, were charged with murder on Wednesday. They were also charged with two counts of arson with intent to endanger life. Police launched an investigation after being called to the multi-occupancy house in Glenister Park Road, Streatham, by the London Fire Brigade, shortly after 7pm on Sunday. A 49-year-old man was found dead inside the property. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.
