Aldi warns 'this can occur' as customer finds maggot in raspberry - Bracknell News

Courtney Leonard purchased the £3.49 packet of the supermarket chain's Specially Selected frozen fruit after her 13-year-old niece asked to try them.

The chocolate-covered raspberries have recently become a viral craze across video sharing platforms TikTok and Instagram, where creators showcase taste tests and dessert ideas.

However, upon taking the very first bite into one piece of fruit, the teenager noticed an unexpected creature embedded in the core.

A dead, frozen maggot was uncovered wedged directly inside the cavity of the berry.

Residents protest against new Low Traffic Neighbourhood trial in Streatham - Bracknell News

Valley Road is part of a group of streets that make up Lambeth Council’s Streatham Wells Low Traffic Neighbourhood trial.

As part of the trial, only buses and taxis are able to enter Valley Road from both ends, with motorists who take the same route facing a fine of £130 from next Monday.

Locals say the signs are difficult to see, and argue that the introduction of the LTN has made traffic on the surrounding streets worse.

Julian Heather, 69, said that the LTN had been introduced “without proper consultation”.
