Limited routes and cancellations are affecting journeys due to ongoing engineering works between London Victoria and Streatham Hill, which began earlier this week and are scheduled to continue through tonight, Thursday, February 5.

Services between London Victoria and Epsom Downs, as well as Watford Junction and East Croydon, are impacted.

Southern has issued a notice stating: "Engineering work is taking place overnight between London Victoria and Streatham Hill, closing some lines."

The King of Sardinia in Somers Road, between Brixton and Streatham, would have its windows and entrance doors replaced with double-glazed timber windows, like-for-like, with the same configuration (transoms and mullions) as existing.

However, the new versions would be like-for-like, with the same configuration (transoms and mullions) as existing.

This is known as 'like-for-like'.

The windows would feature the same transoms and mullions as existing.

The pub was a 'notable local landmark' that dated back to at least 1881 and was rebuilt in 1935.

These changes are due to engineering work and will affect trains from Monday to Thursday (February 2 to February 5).

Trains will run as normal on Friday (February 6).
