A man from Streatham who abused a family’s trust to secure alone time with a young girl has been jailed for 15 years. Founded in 1903 by Agnes Parr, St Michael’s Fellowship first started by working with young unmarried mothers to try to keep mothers and babies together. St Michael’s says the support it offers has continued to evolve, adapting to society’s changing needs throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.
