BCO will play 11 free gigs across the borough, mainly in social housing estates, presenting a seasonal setlist with a full orchestra – from classical and grime to disco, pop and jazz, as well as festive favourites. Streatham Hill Theatre opened in 1929 and was one of London’s largest and most important venues outside the West End. Its supporters are campaigning against plans by Ruach CityChurch, which has bought the theatre, to convert it to a church.
