Alyce Brogan said: "We needed more space and the prices in London are insane. "We knew we wanted somewhere that still offered a manageable commute into London for me, and easy access to Gatwick for Kieran’s job. "Haywards Heath ticked all the boxes, and we could get much more for our money." The couple made the move in summer 2025, settling into their new home with their two children and family cat, Minnie. They had explored other locations including Redhill, Merstham, Guildford and Horsham before deciding on Spring Bank. They were particularly drawn to the development’s lower-density layout and family-friendly feel. Mrs Brogan said: "If we were going to uproot our lives and move out of London, we wanted something that felt different. "Spring Bank felt more spacious, less crowded and much more family-friendly." The couple say the move has given them a "much better quality of life." Their daughter now enjoys woodland walks and weekends spent searching for "fairies" in nearby woods. Mrs Brogan said: "We absolutely love living here. "Moving out of London was a big decision, but it has given us more space, a stronger sense of community and a much better lifestyle for our family. We haven't looked back." Web Link Family swap London life for countryside living and say they've never looked bac… The Argus
