London bus timetable changes - routes affected this weekend

Six routes are affected by timetable changes.

These changes will come into effect from Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Route 71 will see its frequency restored to every eight minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

Route 250 will operate on a temporary timetable due to roadworks on Streatham High Road.

The frequency will be widened to every seven to eight minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Fridays, and to every eight to nine minutes on Saturdays.

There will be no changes during the evenings or on Sundays.

Route 281 will also return to its previous frequency, operating every 10 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 12 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

The night service will continue at a bus every 30 minutes.

Route 406 will have a new timetable, with the frequency restored to every 20 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 30 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.

Route 417 will be on a temporary timetable due to roadworks on Streatham High Road, with the frequency widening to every 11-12 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays.

There will be no change during the evenings or on Sundays.

Route 418 will see its frequency restored to every 20 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 30 minutes during the evenings and all day on Sundays.
