Submitted by daniel on Tue, 11/11/2025 - 00:31 Description An adult and two children have died after a car and truck collided at Stoneleigh in western Victoria. Victoria Police said the vehicles crashed just after 9:30am at the intersection of Mount William Road and Eurambeen-Streatham Road, 45 minutes west of Ballarat. Police said the car appeared to have rolled and been crushed. A second adult, who was trapped in the vehicle, has life-threatening injuries and is expected to be flown to hospital. The truck driver is understood to have escaped with minor injuries. The area has been cordoned off and the surrounding roads are blocked while police and emergency service personnel respond to the scene. Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are heading to the scene of the crash. Stoneleigh is a small town between Beaufort and Skipton with a population of 45 people. Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers. So far this year, 247 have died on Victorian roads, six more than the same time last year.
