Description

TfL has officially confirmed it will proceed with introducing the new SL15 Superloop route between Clapham Junction and Eltham, following a public consultation held in late 2025.

The online consultation received 1,897 responses, the majority of which came from members of the public and showed strong support for the proposal, with many respondents welcoming the improved east–west connectivity the route would bring across south London.

Changes and alterations to the route

Following feedback, TfL announced several changes to the SL15 Superloop route, altering the stop and stand arrangements at Clapham Junction by dropping proposals to use the space under the Falcon Road railway bridge.

Instead, buses heading towards Clapham Junction will not stop at Eccles Road, and buses heading towards Eltham will also no longer stop at Eccles Road.

Additionally, TfL will add two new pairs of stops at Christ Church in Streatham and at Torridon Road in Hither Green, and will adjust the SL6 so it serves additional stops at the Tulse Hill gyratory during peak hours to allow better interchange with the SL15 and nearby routes.

Following consultation, the SL15 will now stop at the following locations:
