Streatham Hill stabbing near Starbucks: Suspect on the loose

A man in his 20s was found injured outside Starbucks in Streatham Hill at around 1pm yesterday (October 6).

He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed not to be life-changing or threatening.

In the latest update, officers confirmed there have still been no arrests.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Around 1pm on Monday, October 6, officers attended Streatham Hill, following reports of a stabbing.

“A man, aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene for a stab wound.

"He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.

“Police are making enquiries, and no arrests have been made at this stage."

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Mon 6) at 12.59pm to reports of a stabbing on Streatham Hill, SW2.

“We sent resources including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.

“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
