Waterstones to open in Bexleyheath Broadway Shopping Centre

The bookseller has announced plans to open a new store in the Broadway Shopping Centre, located at 72-73 Broadway, this autumn, expanding its presence across south London.

Opening in time for the Christmas season, Waterstones said the launch follows the opening of new stores in Lewisham Shopping Centre and on Streatham High Street in 2024.

The new bookshop will cover almost 4,000 square feet on a single ground-floor level and will include a dedicated children's section, as well as a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books, along with gifts, stationery and puzzles.

Waterstones said the store will serve local readers, families and commuters and complement its existing shops in Bromley, Blackheath and Greenwich.

Alistair Willmott, area manager at Waterstones, said: "We are thrilled to be opening a new Waterstones bookshop in Bexleyheath this autumn, in time for the Christmas season.
