Man stabbed on busy south London high street

A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for a stab wound and the Met Police confirmed his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.

Footage from the incident appeared to show someone being treated by paramedics on the busy street.

One witness told the Standard they were left feeling “really uneasy and scared” following the attack.

Streatham resident Becky Hill described how she saw a young man bleeding.

She said: “There was blood on their neck and at the scene.

The device is linked to a separate criminal case being probed by the force’s Anti-Corruption Command under the direction of the Independent Office for Police Conduct, Scotland Yard said.

Flanagan-Clark, attached to the North West local investigations team, appeared upset and wiped his eyes in the dock at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

He appeared charged with a single count of perverting the course of justice.
