Commuters are not set to face any major delays on their way to work this morning.

At 6:48am, the Bakerloo line was reporting minor delays due to train cancellations.

There is a good service on the rest of the London Underground and Overground.

Delays possible on the A205

A primary school in south-west London has included actor Elliot Page in its teaching materials as a positive example of masculinity, as part of a broader effort to challenge harmful gender stereotypes.

Streatham Wells Primary School featured Page — the Canadian actor who medically transitioned with cross-sex hormones and surgery and now identifies as a man — in a lesson about how masculinity can take many forms. In materials shared with pupils, the school described Page as someone who shows masculinity “can mean softness and strength.”

A man has been charged with murder after an 85-year-old was found dead at a property in south London.

The Metropolitan Police said Amithraz Balgobin, 36, of Woodbourne Avenue, Lambeth, was charged with murder and possession of Class A and Class B drugs on Sunday.

The London Ambulance Service called officers to an address in Streatham at around 1pm on Friday following reports that a man, 85, had suffered serious injuries.

He was found with a number of injuries and pronounced dead at the scene in Churchmore Road, the Metropolitan Police said.

At Euston station, more than 19 trains have been cancelled in the second day of chaos at London’s tenth busiest station.

This comes after a train was derailed in the Milton Keynes Central area yesterday.

Due to the late finish of engineering works, there is severe disruption across the TfL network.

The Circle line is back up and running after being entirely suspended earlier this morning, though TfL is still reporting severe delays.

Traffic came to a standstill

Highways England

Motorists on the M25 in Essex may face delays of up to 30 minutes this morning following a multi-car collision that brought anticlockwise lanes to a standstill.

According to National Highways, Essex police have now moved the debris onto the hard shoulder and lanes have opened, but congestion continues between J28 and J27 in Essex.

Traffic monitoring platform INRIX claimed that the collision included three vehicles, but no injuries have been reported.
