At 7.58am, there was no service on the Windrush line due to a customer incident.

Majority of commuters will not face problems getting to work on Tuesday morning with delays impacting two Tube services.

At 8:32am, the Central line was reporting severe delays between Leytonstone and Epping/Woodford via Hainault due to an earlier faulty train at Hainault.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

The Friends of Streatham Hill Theatre has urged residents to object to the planning application as they want to restore the now-closed theatre back to its original use and reopen it as a performance venue again.

David Harvey, chairman of the Friends of Streatham Hill Theatre, said: “It would be a tragedy if the opportunity to return this beautiful building to its intended use were lost. We have been working on this for years with a recognised theatre operator wishing to buy the theatre, with shows at the ready and access to the funds needed for its full renovation.

Multiple TfL and National Rail lines

Commuters may face severe delays on their journeys to work this morning, with disruptions on multiple TfL and National Rail lines.

At 10.00am, the Waterloo & City line was experiencing minor delays.

There were also delays across the National Rail network, with delays of up to 30 minutes on Southeastern trains between St Pancras International/Victoria and Ramsgate.

Guinness World Records (GWR) has confirmed more than 40 records were broken at Sunday’s London Marathon, including the largest number of finishers ever.

A total of 56,640 participants crossed the finish line, beating the 55,646 set by the TCS New York City marathon in November 2024.

On Monday, locals sealed off the road with fake crime scene tape to stop Lambeth Council employees from entering and making a start on the controversial street scheme. It was the second time in a month residents have blocked council employees from Amesbury Avenue.

He told the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) on Tuesday (April 22): “If this project goes ahead, my business will be completely destroyed. We have customers from the local community. How are they going to carry their items if there's no parking for vehicles?”
