Train services to and from London Bridge are being disrupted following a safety inspection of the track between Tulse Hill and Streatham.

Trains are currently running at reduced speed through the area, which may lead to delays of up to 20 minutes or changes to normal services.

Southern services between London Bridge and East Croydon are operating through the affected section at reduced speed, meaning some delays should be expected.

Commuters travelling on the Gatwick Express are facing delays this morning after a train fault blocked lines between Streatham Common and Selhurst.

Network operators have said the disruption is expected to continue until 11:45, although exact delays are not yet confirmed. Passengers are warned that services may be delayed, revised, or diverted.

Delivery drivers arrested in London as dozens of illegal workers face deportation - London Evening Standard

Dozens of delivery riders have been arrested and are set to be deported after being found working illegally during an immigration enforcement crackdown.

The Home Office targeted workers in the gig-economy across the country, including in major operations in London.

Overall, 171 people were arrested as part of the action last month, including 60 detained for removal from Britain.

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood also joined an operation in Streatham, where delivery drivers were stopped and their papers checked.
