The 15-year-old is described as 5'9" tall, with a slim build and curly brown hair.

He has links to Lewisham.

Abercairn Road Streatham stabbing: Man fighting for life

The incident happened in Abercairn Road at 3.20am yesterday (July 22).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as serious.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 3:20hrs on Monday, 22 July to reports of a man being stabbed in Abercairn Road, SW16.

“Officers attended alongside paramedics from London Ambulance Service.

The incident reportedly happened in Abercairn Road at around 3.15am today (July 22), according to Lambeth and Southwark Assembly Member, Marina Ahmed, on X (formally known as Twitter).

It is unknown whether the road has been closed or whether a crime scene is in place.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service for further information on the incident.

The full tweet says: “There was a stabbing in the early hours at approx 3.15am today in Abercairn Road, SW16.

Aldrington Road Streatham flat fire: Three rescued

Fire crews were called to a flat fire in Aldrington Road in Streatham early this morning (July 12) at around 1:41am.

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters were called to the scene with crews from Tooting, West Norwood, Norbury and surrounding fire stations despatched to the scene.

Part of the ground floor of the semi-detached property made up of three floors was damaged by the fire.

Three people who became trapped on the second floor were rescued by fire crews from the building by ladder and were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

General Election 2024: Labour holds Streatham and Croydon North

Steve Reed won with 23,232 votes, a majority of 15,603 which accounted for 52.1 percent of the vote, a slight decrease by 5.8 percent from the previous election in 2019.

Mr Reed will be returning to his role as MP after serving as MP for Croydon North since 2012, as well as shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since September 2023.

Mr Reed’s previous seat for Croydon North was abolished this year and replaced by Streatham and Croydon North as the new constituency.

The south London postcodes with the most XL Bullies

Data from a Freedom of Information request by The Spectator shows that the CR0 postcode, covering Croydon, Addiscombe, Shirley, Addington, New Addington, Forestdale and Waddon, has the highest number of approved applications for XL Bully dogs in the whole of the UK.

The CR0 postcode had 219 approvals, ranking 1st out of 2,424 postcodes overall.

The second south London postcode on the list is SE18, which covers Plumstead and Woolwich.

SE18 was ranked at number 16 in the UK, with 133 approved applications for XL Bullies.

Streatham Place Brixton stabbing: Suspect on loose

Emergency services were called to Streatham Place this morning (June 27) at 2.24am.

It is believed that the stabbing victim, a man in his 40s, was stabbed in Brixton Hill.

He was taken to a south London hospital where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening of life-changing.

No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing.

Gunman fled to Streatham after shooting man in Tottenham

Charles Ezbon, 33, of Park Lane, Tottenham, pleaded guilty to possession of a loaded firearm and grievous bodily harm in March this year.

He was sentenced at Wood Green Crown Court on June 19 to a minimum of nine years in jail.

Police attended North Middlesex hospital in the early hours of December 24 after being told a man had been admitted with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The 26-year-old’s injuries were later assessed as not life-threatening.

In April 2023, 22-year-old Tyrese Miller was shot in the chest at close range.

Drug dealer Denzel Kwateng has been cleared of his murder but convicted of manslaughter after the jury deliberated for more than 41 hours.

In 2022, the 22-year-old was cleared over the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Denardo Samuels-Brooks following an Old Bailey trial.

At his second trial, Kwateng claimed in his defence that he had only pointed a gun at Mr Miller as a prank when it went off without him pulling the trigger.

The store on Sutton Court Road will close its doors June 8 and it will later be transformed into a residential development following planning permission approval in December, 2023.

B&Q opened a new store on Sutton High Street last year, but this is a smaller “local” store.

According to previous reports by the Local Democracy Reporting Service, the project includes eight blocks of flats, 337 of which will be affordable homes, within the 970-flat establishment.

Tower heights range from six to 21 floors.
