A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre after suffering a suspected gunshot wound in South East London this evening.

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Ilex Way in Streatham on Monday 14 September following reports that shots had been fired.

London Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene alongside the London Air Ambulance.

A man was treated at the scene for an injury believed to have been caused by a gunshot before being taken to a London major trauma centre for further treatment.

His condition is not yet known.

A three-year-old girl who sparked a major police appeal after being found alone in Southampton city centre has been safely reunited with her family.

The youngster was found at Houndwell Park, Palmerston Road, at around 3.25pm on Wednesday, prompting officers to make an urgent public appeal to establish her identity and locate whoever was responsible for her care.

A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in broad daylight in Streatham. Metropolitan Police officers were called to Wavertree Road at around 3.57pm on Wednesday, August 12, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found a 19-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Police have since confirmed his injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

A man has been charged following a serious collision on the A350 near East Knoyle on Saturday evening, 4 July. Wiltshire Police attended the scene around 8.45pm after a crash involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a BMW. The BMW driver, a man in his 40s, was seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Charges Filed

Brett Davidson, 67, from Salisbury Road, Blandford Forum and driver of the Corsa, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 6 July and was remanded in custody.
