Kamran Khan, 44, from Streatham High Road, Lambeth, has been handed a 15-year prison sentence for abusing a child. The sentence was delivered on Wednesday, April 1, at Inner London Crown Court. Khan was earlier found guilty on January 15 of ten sexual offences against one girl, including rape and assault of a child under 13 years old.

A man aged in his 50s is in a serious condition in hospital after he was “beaten up” — and left unconscious in #Streatham. One shocked resident has made claim that the man had his head kicked about like a football when he fell to the floor following the attack on Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement the Met Police said at 2:46pm they were called to a residential address on Sunnyhill Road, SW16, following reports of a fight.

Armed officers swooped in after a stabbing on South Lodge Avenue, Merton. The Met Police’s specialist SO19 unit led the operation, while the NPAS helicopter hunted the suspect from the skies.

First Aid and Emergency Services Rush to the Scene

Officers quickly administered first aid at the scene before paramedics from London Ambulance arrived. The victim was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds but is expected to survive.
