We’ve also added a link to an interactive map letting people find places near them which offer air conditioning. Lambeth spaces Flaxman Sports Centre Ferndale Community Sports Centre Brixton Recreation Centre Clapham Leisure Centre Herne Hill Lifestyle Centre Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre Some libraries do not have air conditioning, but will be cooler than outside and have fans: Libraries The following libraries offer cooler spaces and air-conditioned areas: Lambeth Archives – air conditioning available Clapham Library – limited air conditioning Minet Library – air conditioning in the children’s library and ceiling fans in the adult library Streatham Library – air conditioning available in several parts of the library West Norwood Library – limited air conditioning and some fans available Please note that Waterloo Library is closed and due to reopen on 29th August.
