The event is part of a nationwide series of Regional Assemblies building toward Your Party’s Founding Conference in Liverpool on 29–30 November. It follows a run of sell-out South London meetings in Brixton, Southwark and Lambeth, where Zarah Sultana MP and anti-apartheid veteran Andrew Feinstein helped launch the movement’s first local branches. The rally comes two weeks after members received an email inviting them to help draft Your Party’s founding texts — the Political Statement, Constitution, Standing Orders and Organisational Strategy. These documents, now published on the party’s website, set out its principles, rules and democratic structure. According to Your Party, the road to conference will see thousands take part in Regional Assemblies nationwide, debating and revising the documents before a randomly selected group of delegates finalises them in Liverpool. The resulting texts will then go to the full membership in a one-member-one-vote online ballot.
