Man stabbed in broad daylight

The man in his 20's was found on Streatham Hill

An investigation is underway after police were called to reports of a stabbing this lunchtime in south London

When officers arrived in Streatham Hill they found a man with a stab wound. He has been taken to hospital.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said:

"Around 13:00hrs on Monday, 6 October, officers attended Streatham Hill, following reports of a stabbing.

A man, aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene for a stab wound. He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.

Police are making enquiries, and no arrests have been made at this stage."
