Description

The works will affect trains from Monday (September 1) to Thursday (September 4).

Trains will run as normal on Friday (September 5).

We have outlined and simplified the details so you can plan your journey this week.

Monday to Thursday (September 1 to September 4):

Engineering work is taking place between New Cross Gate and Norwood Junction, closing various lines in the area overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

From 11.45pm until the end of service on Monday to Wednesday evenings and at the end of service on Thursday, no trains will run between London Bridge and Norwood Junction via New Cross Gate and Sydenham.

Some trains will be diverted via alternative routes with extended journey times.

Replacement buses will run between London Bridge and East Croydon and between Streatham Hill and London Bridge.

Engineering work is also taking place between East Croydon, Uckfield, and East Grinstead, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

From approximately 11pm each night until the end of service, buses will replace trains between those stations.
