The Southern trains affected by engineering works this week

The works will affect trains from Monday to Friday (September 22 to September 26).

We have outlined and simplified the details so you can plan your journey this weekend.

Tuesday to Friday (September 23 to September 26):

Engineering work is taking place between Tulse Hill and Streatham, closing all lines very early on Tuesday to Friday mornings.

As a result, the 12.01am train from London Bridge to Selhurst train will be diverted after Tulse Hill to Norwood Junction, where it will terminate.

For stations between Tulse Hill and Selhurst, passengers should change at Tulse Hill for a replacement bus, calling at all stations from Tulse Hill to Selhurst via Streatham Common.

Monday to Wednesday (September 22 to September 24):

The 11.25pm train from London Victoria to Brighton train will be diverted after Haywards Heath to run to Brighton via Lewes.

It will not call at Burgess Hill or Hassocks.

The train will arrive at Brighton later than usual.

A replacement bus will run from Haywards Heath to Brighton, calling at Burgess Hill and Hassocks.

Tuesday to Thursday (September 23 to September 25):

The 12.02am train from London Victoria to Worthing train will terminate at Three Bridges.

A replacement bus will run from Three Bridges to Brighton, and also from Brighton to Worthing.

An additional train will run from Brighton to Worthing in place of the train that terminates at Three Bridges.

The 1.08am train from Haywards Heath to Eastbourne train will not run.

Replacement buses will run from Haywards Heath to Lewes, and also from Lewes to Eastbourne.
