Paramedics rushed to Leigham Court Road in Streatham at 3.05pm yesterday (September 14) following reports of gunshots.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.06pm yesterday (14 September) to reports of a shooting in Leigham Court Road, SW16.

"We sent resources including ambulance crews, a clinical team manager, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.

"We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital."

Police confirmed the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries continue at the scene, and the community will see an increased police presence in the area."

Enquiries remain ongoing.
