Paul Holden (author of The Fraud: Keir Starmer, Morgan McSweeney, and the Crisis of British Democracy) appears alongside Richard Sanders (award-winning producer on The Labour Files and director with Al Jazeera’s Investigative Unit). Holden’s new book builds on The Labour Files investigations, arguing that the Labour right plotted a post-2015 resurgence and worked to sideline Jeremy Corbyn, referencing figures including Streatham MP Steve Reed and strategist Morgan McSweeney. It also discusses donation-reporting failures linked to Labour Together, which the Electoral Commission fined in 2021; this autumn the Commission said it would not reopen the case despite fresh political pressure.
