The pub has become a local hub for Latin beats, dancing and late‑night energy, and Black Elvis’s hip‑swivelling Elvis classics will add a vintage twist to that party atmosphere. Colbert Hamilton, the UK’s original Black Elvis, is a long‑standing London performer whose high‑energy shows blend classic rock ’n’ roll with deep blues. He’s built a loyal West End following, with stars such as Madonna, Ronnie Wood, Goldie and Rod Stewart among those who’ve watched him. Hamilton has worked with songwriter Danny Mitchell, played in cult rockabilly bands The Nitros and The Hellrazors, and supported Dead or Alive, Sigue Sigue Sputnik among many others including Alabama 3 (read our 2022 review). He was one of the last unknown singers to record with Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott on “D’ya Wanna Rock?” and has jammed with members of Elvis’s backing group The Sweet Inspirations. As part of the day, there will be a charity raffle in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, giving guests the chance to support vital research while they celebrate. Expect hip‑swivelling favourites, big ballads and a feel‑good, Vegas‑meets‑South London atmosphere.
