Expect utility upgrades, gas works and rail jobs to snarl roads.

In Chelsea (SW10), telecoms and water repairs on Cathcart Road and Drayton Gardens could hit traffic and parking.

St Mark’s Grove is due to be dug up on February 27 for remedial works.

Cadent Gas is continuing gas service installs on The Little Boltons until February 27.

Chelsea roadworks and parking disruption

Network Rail will cut back overhanging vegetation on Harbour Avenue on February 27, adding to Chelsea Harbour congestion.

Around Streatham, Norbury and the A23, drivers should expect short-term barriers and possible parking changes.

They include Angles Road, Bedford Hill and Bigginwood Road.

Wandsworth Council’s long-term work includes rebuilding the pavement in Bowman Mews, Southfields, until March 30, with pedestrian diversions.

On Bramford Road, Network Rail will use road space until August 2027 to support station works, changing traffic flows.

Thames Water will be on Birdhurst Road for one day on February 27 to maintain existing equipment.

TfL crossing upgrade and EV charging in Tooting
