Description

The limited-stop service follows a public consultation which received 1,897 responses.

In a report published on March 10, 2026, Transport for London (TfL) confirmed it will move forward with the route.

The SL15 will run every 12 minutes from Clapham Junction to Eltham on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 15 minutes on Sundays, during evenings, and early mornings.

Single-deck buses will operate on the route.

TfL confirmed changes to the originally proposed stopping and standing arrangements at Clapham Junction.

The SL15 will no longer terminate under the railway bridge at Falcon Road.

Instead, buses will serve stops V and E towards Clapham Junction, before standing at Grant Road.

Towards Eltham, the service will use stops G and T, as initially proposed.

The revised plans mean the route will not serve Eccles Road.

To accommodate the SL15 at Grant Road, TfL will review bus stop arrangements for other local routes to reduce congestion and improve access.

The route will include two new pairs of stops: Christ Church in Streatham (stops BJ and BM) and Torridon Road in Hither Green (stops G and M).

In addition, Superloop route SL6 will be adjusted to stop at E and G around the Tulse Hill gyratory, providing more direct interchange opportunities with the SL15 and other local bus routes during peak hours.

TfL said it will continue to engage with stakeholders ahead of issuing further customer information.

Further details about the final launch date and any changes to bus stop arrangements around Clapham Junction will be confirmed closer to the time.
