The two individuals are lawyer Fred Ojiambo of Kaplan & Streatham Stratton and Mohammed Amin, the Director of DCI,” he said.He claimed that police vehicles involved in a subsequent raid at his premises also had removed or missing plates, adding to suspicions of deliberate targeting.“Police officers are stationed here, strangers are present, and I don’t know what they are trying to enforce,” he said, noting that there was no court order authorising the occupation. He further alleged that the officers told him they were acting on “orders from above” but refused to specify who had issued them.Tuju insisted that the property was private and not a parastatal or public land, dismissing the police presence as a “display of power with no legal order.”Highlighting previous complaints and ongoing cases, Tuju questioned why Ojiambo and his associates had not been investigated despite court records and evidence he had submitted to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).He referenced a January 5 complaint against Ojiambo for falsifying affidavits and court documents, as well as a criminal case at the Nairobi Magistrate’s Court involving him and officials of the East African Development Bank (EADB), alleging collusion that prevented proper investigation.Tuju also claimed that his associate Steve Mwanga, whom he described as a former director at the Jubilee party, had been arrested and was being held without police bond, which he said was meant to intimidate him.
