A London pub has been given a scathing one-star review on Google despite not having even opened yet – because of its “very limited” plant-based options.

On Saturday 31st August, hundreds of cinemas across the UK will come together to celebrate National Cinema Day, offering cheap entry to see many of the films being screened at the moment.

Trains in south London will be disrupted with little to no service for nine days, Network Rail has warned.

The building at 101 Streatham High Road has been vacant since 2015 when the local police station relocated to a building further down the street.

Now Everitt Road Properties has applied to Lambeth Council to turn the former cop shop, built in 1912, into a hotel and café.
