The Rabbit Hole, formerly known as The Greyhound, is up for sale for £2.5 million.

Located on Greyhound Lane, Streatham, the pub is a landmark in the area, noted for its distinctive frontage and prime position opposite Streatham Common.

The property dates back to 1930, when it was rebuilt for publican Charles Walter Hoye, complete with landscaped gardens that were marketed as "Streatham’s Finest Garden Rendezvous".

However, the site has a much older history.

Streatham man who raped and abused girl under 13 jailed

Kamran Khan, of Streatham High Road in Lambeth, groomed the child by using established connections with her family to secure time alone with her, before abusing her in multiple locations, including her home, her bedroom and a park bench.

He threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone what he had done.

The offending came to light after a family member witnessed a concerning interaction between Khan and the child.

Despite the threats made against her, the girl bravely spoke out and disclosed the abuse.

All the Croydon Southern trains cancelled before the Easter weekend

This is due to engineering work and will affect trains from Monday to Good Friday (March 30 to April 3).

We have broken down the details so you can plan ahead.

Engineering work is taking place in the London Bridge area, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday (March 30 to April 2):

The 11.20pm trains from London Victoria to London Bridge will run non-stop from Streatham Hill to London Bridge.

A replacement bus will run from Streatham Hill to London Bridge calling at stations via Sydenham

Teaching assistant guilty of child sexual offences

Charlie Territt, 31, from South Bermondsey, was formerly employed as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Streatham Wells Primary School.

He pleaded guilty to four offences at Inner London Crown Court:

Causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity

Causing a child to watch a sexual act

Sexual communication with a child

Making indecent photographs of children

The allegations related to online conversations with a child in which Territt sent a video of a sexual act.
