Streatham bus crash leaves child injured in hospital

Police were called to the crash on Leigham Court Road near Etherstone Road in Streatham at around 4.15pm on April 20.

Paramedics treated an 11-year-old boy and took him to hospital where his injuries are not life-threatening or changing.

SL15 bus Eltham to Clapham - all the schools on the route

Transport for London (TfL) has officially confirmed plans to go ahead with the SL15 bus route, running between Clapham Junction and Eltham, following strong support shown during an online consultation.

Following feedback, TfL confirmed a number of changes to the SL15 Superloop route, including revising stop and standing arrangements at Clapham Junction and dropping plans to use space under the Falcon Road railway bridge.

All the Southern trains in Croydon as schools return

Green Lane Croydon stabbing – Teenager in hospital

The incident happened in Green Lane near Norbury Park just after 7pm yesterday (April 8).

An ambulance crew, paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer was dispatched to the scene.

A teenager was treated for injuries before being taken to hospital.

Their condition is unknown.

An investigation has been launched, according to Steve Reed, MP for Streatham and Croydon North.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.13pm on Wednesday 8 April to reports of a stabbing on Green Lane, Norbury.

Southern trains cancellations this week after Easter

This is due to late-night engineering work and will affect trains from Tuesday to Friday (April 7 to April 10).

We have broken down the details for you to plan ahead.

Tuesday to Thursday (April 7 to April 9):

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Balham, Streatham, and Sutton via Mitcham Junction, closing some lines.

The 11.15pm train from Dorking to London Victoria will be diverted between Sutton and Balham and run non-stop.

A replacement bus will run from Sutton to London Victoria calling at stations via Mitcham Junction.
