The capital has seen bloodshed every day this week between Monday and Friday (October 6 to October 10).

This includes knife incidents in Streatham, West Drayton, Kilburn, Waterloo and gun shots fired in New Southgate and Walthamstow.

Man taken to hospital after stabbing outside Starbucks in Streatham Hill

The first incident this week began in Streatham Hill, after a stabbing outside a Starbucks on Monday (October 6) at around 1pm.

Over the course of the last three days (October 4 to October 6), there have been three major incidents in the capital.

Two of the incidents took place in south London, with one reported in Wallington and one in Streatham.

Another one took place in Southall.

Man taken to hospital in critical condition after 'serious assault' in Wallington

On Tuesday (September 9), two 16-year-olds were on a Thameslink train between Streatham and Tulse Hill.

The teenagers were approached by two older men who demanded their phones and items of clothing.

The teenagers refused and were physically attached and punched by the two men.

The two men also allegedly threatened to kill them.

The British Transport Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw the incident or have any information.

Amithraz Balgobin, 36, of Woodbourne Avenue, Lambeth, was charged with murder and possession of Class A and Class B drugs today (July 6).

He was remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday (July 7).

Police were called to Churchmore Road in Lambeth on Friday (July 4) at around 1pm after reports were made to the force that an 85-year-old man had sustained “serious” injuries.

He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Emergency services were called to an address in Churchmore Road in Streatham yesterday (July 4) at around 1pm.

The man has not yet been identified by police and a post-mortem will take place later.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in custody.

DCI Sarah Lee, from Specialist Crime South - who is leading on the investigation - said:

Transport for London (TfL) has said that they are exploring the option of a new express bus service between Clapham Junction and Eltham station.

It comes as the Superloop network continues to expand, with ten routes already in operation and a further three planned this year.

Now, transport bosses have said that they will launch consultations on another three routes later this year, including a bus between Clapham and Eltham, designated SL15.

Their cases, concluded between May 14 and May 22 2025, involved motorists and residents from Eltham, Streatham Hill, Crayford, Welling, Bexleyheath and even Chatham.

Shariff Mohammed, 53, of Sandling Rise, Eltham must pay £240 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for exceeding the 40 mph limit on the A20 Sidcup By-Pass on July 11, 2024.

His licence was endorsed with three penalty points when the matter was dealt with on May 21, 2025.

The incidents unfolded between Friday (April 25) and Saturday (April 26) in Archway, Norbury, Streatham and Twickenham.

Police confirm condition of man stabbed at underground station in Archway

Archway station was closed on Friday (April 25) shortly after 6.10pm after reports of an incident.

A man was found with a stab wound to his leg and he was taken to hospital as a priority.

Eddwin Cortes-Pinerez sexually assaulted five women in the space of three weeks, each time quickly approaching the women from behind and grabbing their bottoms before cycling off.

On Thursday, April 17, a Woolwich Crown Court judge jailed the 40-year-old for 19 months and banned him from riding a bicycle.

Charlie Territt, 31, from South Bermondsey, was formerly employed as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Streatham Wells Primary School.

He is charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child, causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and causing a child to watch a sexual act.

Territt pleaded not guilty to the three charges during a brief hearing at Inner London Crown Court on Tuesday, April 1.

The court heard the charges relate to allegations that Territt engaged in a sexual conversation with a child online last year.
