Men ‘threaten to kill’ two teens on Tulse Hill Thameslink train Submitted by daniel on Mon, 15/09/2025 - 12:15 On Tuesday (September 9), two 16-year-olds were on a Thameslink train between Streatham and Tulse Hill. The teenagers were approached by two older men who demanded their phones and items of clothing. The teenagers refused and were physically attached and punched by the two men. The two men also allegedly threatened to kill them. The British Transport Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw the incident or have any information. Churchmore Road Streatham murder: Man, 36, charged Submitted by daniel on Sun, 06/07/2025 - 12:52 Amithraz Balgobin, 36, of Woodbourne Avenue, Lambeth, was charged with murder and possession of Class A and Class B drugs today (July 6). He was remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday (July 7). Police were called to Churchmore Road in Lambeth on Friday (July 4) at around 1pm after reports were made to the force that an 85-year-old man had sustained “serious” injuries. Churchmore Road Lambeth: Man, 85, found dead Submitted by daniel on Sat, 05/07/2025 - 14:35 Emergency services were called to an address in Churchmore Road in Streatham yesterday (July 4) at around 1pm. An 85-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and police say he had sustained several injuries. The man has not yet been identified by police and a post-mortem will take place later. A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in custody. It comes as the Superloop network continues to expand, with ten routes already in operation and a further three planned this year. Now, transport bosses have said that they will launch consultations on another three routes later this year, including a bus between Clapham and Eltham, designated SL15. Police confirm condition of man stabbed at underground station in Archway Archway station was closed on Friday (April 25) shortly after 6.10pm after reports of an incident. On Thursday, April 17, a Woolwich Crown Court judge jailed the 40-year-old for 19 months and banned him from riding a bicycle. Teaching assistant accused of child sexual offences Submitted by daniel on Tue, 01/04/2025 - 13:47 Charlie Territt, 31, from South Bermondsey, was formerly employed as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Streatham Wells Primary School. He is charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child, causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and causing a child to watch a sexual act. Territt pleaded not guilty to the three charges during a brief hearing at Inner London Crown Court on Tuesday, April 1. The court heard the charges relate to allegations that Territt engaged in a sexual conversation with a child online last year.
