In the same sitting, they dismissed a council-tax claim, withdrew an arrest warrant after a supervision-order breach, and rejected police efforts to impose a domestic-violence protection order.

Muhammad Ali, of Windsor Road, Croydon, appeared on June 23, 2025, and must pay £7,951.71 in a fine, costs, and a surcharge.

He pleaded guilty to failing to take reasonable measures to prevent the escape of controlled waste—a quantity of doors left on the green between Pollards Hill West and Pollards Hill South—at London Road, Streatham, on August 9, 2023.

He was fined £890, ordered to pay a £356 victim-services surcharge, and £6,705.71 in costs.

A collection order was made, and he must pay £250 a month starting July 21, 2025; magistrates said his guilty plea was taken into account when passing sentence.

Moses Olubisose, of Middle Way, London, appeared on June 23, 2025, after Lambeth Council sought a liability order for £1,070.41 in unpaid council tax linked to a studio flat in Tunstall Road, Brixton.

Magistrates dismissed the application and ordered that Mr Olubisose receive £75 from central funds to cover his personal expenses.

Sean Michael Garvey, 35, of Ellison Road, Streatham, appeared on June 23, 2025, and admitted breaching post-sentence supervision by failing to report to his supervising officer on March 28 and April 25, 2025.

Magistrates imposed no separate penalty and withdrew a previously issued arrest warrant.

Leroy Achiampong, 25, of Angell Road, Lambeth, appeared on June 24, 2025, after police applied for a domestic-violence protection order.

Magistrates refused the application—served with a protection notice on June 23—because they found the statutory test for violence towards the complainant had not been met on the balance of probabilities.
