The fault is expected to cause disruption until the end of the day, with cancellations, delays and diversions across the network, reports our sister title London Now. Southern services are unable to run as scheduled in both directions, and trains between Horsham, Dorking, and London Victoria are being diverted via West Croydon and Selhurst. Trains will run normal on Saturday (March 14). Below is a full breakdown so you can plan ahead. Sunday (March 15): All day on Sunday, no trains will run between West Croydon and Epsom Downs or between Streatham and Sutton and Epsom via Mitcham Junction. 9 south London Lloyds and Halifax branches closing in 2026 Submitted by daniel on Fri, 13/03/2026 - 17:00 Lloyds and Halifax have announced the closure of a number of their branches nationwide, with nine of them affecting south London. Some, like the Mitcham, New Addington and Wandsworth (Garratt Lane) branches, have already closed, with others set to close in the spring and summer of this year. However, Croydon’s store is set to close its 137 North End branch on a temporary basis for a relocation before reopening on May 5 at Unit 74, Ground Floor, Centrale Shopping Centre.
