Submitted by daniel on

Transport for London (TfL) is delivering a new road layout on the A23 Streatham Hill, expected to continue until spring 2027.

The project aims to create a safer and more reliable road for all users, with protected cycle lanes, dedicated bus lanes in both directions and improvements for pedestrians.

Lane restrictions are currently in place in both directions between Holmewood Road on A23 Brixton Hill and Sternhold Avenue on A23 Streatham Hill.

Changes to nearby roads and junctions may cause delays, especially for northbound traffic.

On the high street of Streatham, packed in between the Greggs and the Odeon you might encounter one of the many brilliant charity shops that Streatham has to offer.

Everybody knows you can buy clothing at these shops however not many people know they also sell books, kitchenware, children’s toys, CDs, records, DVDs and much more.

In the past few years, all of these shops have helped improve the area of Streatham and the rest of the world by giving their profits to charities like Cancer Research, Crisis and the British Heart Foundation.
